Our goal in making this film was to help educators and parents. As the film became more available to the public, it became obvious that many teachers and professors wanted to use it in the classroom. The film was meant to start discussions - why not among young adults? The first trials were very successful, and several teachers reported fascinating conversations. Teenagers and young adults start having more discernement around tech usage than could be imagined 10 years ago. They have interesting stories to tell too, and that can be the beginning of a journey for them.
We decided to make the film available to classrooms on a donation basis. We recognize that each classroom, in a different part of the world, has vastly different financial means and we did not want that to be an impediment to discussions. Donations keep our work going.
